ADO company is involved in EU co-funded research project “Improved production of fuel cells in order to extend the life, improving the operating parameters, in particular the power per unit volume / mass of cells, and to reduce investment and operating costs through the use of alternative catalytic systems in printing technology”.


The aim of the project is enhanced production of fuel cells in order to extend the life and improve performance. In particular to be improved power density (power per unit area volume / weight of the cell). Significant reduction of investment costs will be achieved by applying the offset technology for the production of each layer of the cells as well as to the application of alternative catalyst systems on the fuel cell layers. The increase in lifetime and efficiency of the cells will reduce costs, and lower investment and operating costs through the use of alternative catalyst systems, the methods applied in printing, in a highly efficient and controlled way.
